TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Eligibility to purchase
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability, and items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers. CHEZ DEDE offers products for sale that are in stock and available for dispatch from our distribution center.
Prices shown on the Site are in Euros or US Dollars and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate unless you have selected an alternative country where VAT is not chargeable. All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time. The Euros or US Dollars price of a product displayed on the Site at the time the order is accepted will be honored, except in cases of patent error. Prices are subject to change if the applicable currency exchange rate changes before your order is accepted or the items are subject to markdowns at any time during the selling period.Customers purchasing from outside the European Union will be charged for the items purchased and shipping costs only. Import duty or tax costs will be invoiced to you directly from our courier or an import broker appointed by you. We recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to purchase completion.
Acceptance of your order
Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation that we have received it.Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and CHEZ DEDE will be completed when we email you to confirm the goods have been dispatched. The sale contract is therefore concluded in Rome, Italy and the language of the contract is Italian. We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorization for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out within the TOS. We may also refuse to process and therefore accept a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the Site whether or not that merchandise has been sold, removing, screening or editing any materials or content on the Site, refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
Intellectual property rights
Your use of the Sites and its contents grants no rights to you in relation to any copyright, designs, trademarks and all other intellectual property and material rights relating to the Content (as described in the Content section below), including CHEZ DEDE Software and all HTML and other code contained in this Site. All such Content mentioned or displayed on this Site are protected by national intellectual property and other laws and international treaty provisions. You are permitted to use the Content only as expressly authorized by CHEZ DEDE and/or its third party licensors. Any reproduction or redistribution of the above listed Content is prohibited and may result in civil and criminal penalties. Without limiting the foregoing, copying and use of the above listed materials to any other server, location or support for publication, reproduction or distribution is expressly prohibited.
In addition to the Intellectual property rights mentioned above, "Content" is defined as any graphics, photographs, including all image rights, sounds, music, video, audio or text on this Site. CHEZ DEDE tries to ensure that the information on this site is accurate and complete. CHEZ DEDE does not promise that CHEZ DEDE's Content is accurate or error-free. CHEZ DEDE does not promise that the functional aspects of the Site or CHEZ DEDE's Content will be error free or that this Site, CHEZ DEDE Content or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. We always recommend that all users of the Internet ensure they have up to date virus checking software installed.
No commercial use
This Site is for your personal non-commercial use only. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, commercially exploit, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any Content, software, products, or services contained within this Site. You may not use this Site, or any of its Content, to further any commercial purpose, including any advertising or advertising revenue generation activity on your own Site.
You have certain rights under the law. These include:
- That any products you order through this Site will be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, and will conform to any description given on this Site;
- Certain remedies if a product is defective; and
- A right to cancel any order for a product within seven working days commencing on the day after the date on which you receive it, and receive a full refund even if it is not defective.
Nothing in the TOS is intended to affect these rights.
Limits on our liability
Nothing in the TOS is intended to affect your rights under the law (see "Your Rights" above). If CHEZ DEDE breaches the TOS we shall only be liable for losses which are direct losses and a reasonably foreseeable consequence of such a breach. Losses are foreseeable where, for example, they could be contemplated by you and CHEZ DEDE at the time of you placing your order, and CHEZ DEDE dispatching your order. We shall only be liable for losses up to 150% of the total value of goods purchased. We are not responsible for losses not caused by our breach or negligence, indirect losses which are a side effect of the main loss or damage and which are not reasonably foreseeable by you and us (for example, loss of profits or loss of opportunity). We are also not responsible for failure to meet any of our obligations under the TOS where such failure is due to events beyond our reasonable control.
At our request, you agree to compensate us fully, defend us, and hold us CHEZ DEDE harmless immediately on demand, its officers, directors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and suppliers, from and against all liabilities, claims, expenses, damages and losses, including legal fees, arising from any breach of the TOS by you, including the use by any other persons accessing this Site using your Internet account caused by your action or inaction.
You acknowledge and agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and CHEZ DEDE as a result of the TOS or your use of this Site. You agree that you may not and will not hold yourself out as a representative, agent, or employee of CHEZ DEDE, and we shall not be liable for any representation, act, or omission on your part.
If you breach the TOS and we take no action against you, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach the TOS.
The TOS together with all our policies and procedures will be governed by and construed in accordance to the relevant Italian law and the relevant Italian courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.
- Payment can be made by bank transfer, credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro) or through a Paypal account and any other methods which may be clearly advertised on the Site from time to time. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon dispatch of your order by CHEZ DEDE. We take reasonable care to make our Site secure. To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple, and secure, CHEZ DEDE uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
- Please note that CHEZ DEDE doesn’t ever store its users’ credit/debit cards details in its systems and can therefore not be held liable for any loss you may suffer.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
If for any reason clients are not satisfied with an order, the item(s) can be returned within 15 days for:
- Item Exchange
Email firstname.lastname@example.org within 15 days from the delivery date to request a Return Authorization Number (R.A.N.). Please include Order ID (ID#######), Name(s) of the item(s) to be returned and state if the return is item exchange or refund.
In either case, transportation costs incurred by the return of products are only refunded if the return is justified by the nonconformity of the goods delivered (reference error, faulty goods, etc.. ).
Once your request has been accepted and your R.A.N. obtained, please follow the instructions in the R.A.N. email to arrange the pick-up of the goods. Please write the Return Authorization Number on the Airway Bill and on the outside of the box.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
We recommend that items are returned from the same country to which they were delivered. Returns must be packaged in the box originally provided. Orders sent back from a different destination may incur additional charges or be delayed by customs.
CHEZ DEDE reserves the right to request photographic support regarding defective or incorrect merchandise before authorizing a return for full reimbursement or exchange.
Clients can choose between two compensation options:
1. Item Exchange
All exchanges are based on stock availability.
Refunds will be processed as soon as returned items have been checked and accepted.
Only regular priced items may be returned. Sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.
For orders paid by credit card, the refunded amount will be available to customers in roughly 10 days and within their next billing statement. Processing time may vary depending on the credit card company.
Orders paid by Paypal or by bank transfer will be refunded to the original account.
Returns must arrive within 10 days of receiving the R.A.N.
If your order has been sent to a destination within the EU, all sales taxes will be refunded. Outside the EU, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through CHEZ DEDE. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly. As this may not be available for all countries, we recommend that you hire a customs broker if you wish to claim back duties on returned merchandise.
Return terms and conditions
Item(s) must not have been worn, washed or altered in any way, and must not show any signs of use.
Items must be returned using the package originally provided, with all original tags, packaging and other accessories received with the order.
CHEZ DEDE will not issue a refund or accept an item exchange for merchandise that does not meet the above conditions. If your returned merchandise is not accepted, for reasons we deem appropriate, you will be notified via email to the email address you provided during checkout. Within two weeks (14 days) of being notified that you are not entitled to a refund, you will have the ability to request that your merchandise be shipped back to you in the condition that it was received by our customer service, at your own cost. You have two weeks (14 days) to reply with a written request for the return of your merchandise, in which you must agree to pay for return shipping and a restocking fee and specify the method of payment for this service. If this is not done within two weeks (14 days), you are authorizing CHEZ DEDE to dispose of such merchandise.
Pick-ups for all authorized returns with CHEZ DEDE’s courier account numbers must originate from the same country of the original shipment.
CHEZ DEDE reserves the right to refuse returns that are unauthorized and/or not sent with the same courier as specified in the email detailing the return instructions. If an unauthorized return is accepted, CHEZ DEDE will deduct a 10% administrative/re-stocking fee from the refund.
Goods are classified as faulty if they have been damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within one month of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. You will receive a full refund if the item cannot be repaired or replaced.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on CHEZ DEDE. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be completely accurate. Furthermore, the fabrics and leathers used in our products are natural.
